Hello! I’m Ran Chen (陈然), a postdoctoral researcher at the Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA), Italy. I received my Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and Purple Mountain Observatory (PMO), Chinese Academy of Sciences. As a relativist, I focus on the astrophysics of gravitational waves, stochastic gravitational-wave backgrounds, compact binary systems, and tests of General Relativity and alternative theories of gravity.
